Our mission has been to provide convenient and high quality communicative kidney care to Georgia residents. Remote Renal Care was developed after the Founder, Dr. Sharica Brookins, would travel hundreds of miles to provide in-person care to surrounding rural areas of Georgia. She noticed that even then there was a delay with in-person accessibility and long wait times. Telehealth has made communication with patients and other providers more effective, and more frequent Nephrology care can be provided to rural areas.

Remote Renal Care is a telehealth kidney practice that premiered as the only one of its kind in Georgia in 2018. Telehealth has played a major role in our clinic's vision to bring comprehensive, compassionate and effective kidney care throughout Georgia.
